The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,101.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonaert Bramer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Circumcision in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 41,825.00 (€ 59,193.90).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.101,33) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonaert Bramer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Circumcision im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.825,00 (€ 59.193,90).
