In April 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French La Mare Aux Chênes by Léon-Victor Dupré. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,794.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Léon-Victor Dupré have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Weidende Kühe an einer Tränke in einer weiten Landschaft. 1849. was auctioned for CHF 36,500.00 (€ 32,631.55).

Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French La Mare Aux Chênes von Léon-Victor Dupré zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.794,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
