Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Leif Rydeng could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Scenery with swans and tufted ducks changed hands for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 281.92) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leif Rydeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piping ducks fly over the surf in August this year with an auction result of DKK 25,000.00 (€ 3,353.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leif Rydeng konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Scenery with swans and tufted ducks für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 281,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leif Rydeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piping ducks fly over the surf im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 25.000,00 (€ 3.353,63).
