Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Deer in the forest by Leif Rydeng was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leif Rydeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piping ducks fly over the surf in August this year with an auction result of DKK 25,000.00 (€ 3,353.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Deer in the forest von Leif Rydeng im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,22) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leif Rydeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piping ducks fly over the surf im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 25.000,00 (€ 3.353,63).
