Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Le Pho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in November 2021. In the La Mystique de l'Indochine : Paris auction, the work Vase of flowers sold for EUR 2,772.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Pho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in a garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 17,920,000.00 (€ 2,166,658.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Pho erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion La Mystique de l'Indochine : Paris wurde die Arbeit Vase of flowers für EUR 2.772,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Pho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures in a garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.920.000,00 (€ 2.166.658,44).
