Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterfront at Monterey, California by Laurits Regner Tuxen was sold in the Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 26,000.00 (€ 3,483.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurits Regner Tuxen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Morgenstemning, Fra mit hus i Skagen” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 450,000.00 (€ 60,331.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterfront at Monterey, California von Laurits Regner Tuxen wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 26.000,00 (€ 3.483,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laurits Regner Tuxen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Morgenstemning, Fra mit hus i Skagen” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 450.000,00 (€ 60.331,63).
