Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Laurits Regner Tuxen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Portrait of a woman in a black dress and a red hat changed hands for DKK 11,000.00 (€ 1,473.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Laurits Regner Tuxen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Morgenstemning, Fra mit hus i Skagen” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 450,000.00 (€ 60,331.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Laurits Regner Tuxen konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of a woman in a black dress and a red hat für DKK 11.000,00 (€ 1.473,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Laurits Regner Tuxen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Morgenstemning, Fra mit hus i Skagen” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 450.000,00 (€ 60.331,63).
