Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Compostion from Hornsleth Village Project Uganda by Kristian von Hornsleth for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Kristian von Hornsleth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Change Morals” in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 13,500.00 (€ 11,798.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Compostion from Hornsleth Village Project Uganda von Kristian von Hornsleth für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kristian von Hornsleth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Change Morals” im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 13.500,00 (€ 11.798,64).
