In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Girl Without A Passport by Konstantin Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 112,500.00 (€ 123,899.25), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grain Silo in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 644,200.00 (€ 719,628.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl Without A Passport von Konstantin Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 123.899,25) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grain Silo im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 644.200,00 (€ 719.628,81).
