This artwork by Kevin Charles Hart achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. In the Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II auction, the work Wildflowers sold for AUD 11,352.50 (€ 6,828.23) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kevin Charles Hart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Banjo Patterson Mural in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 99,875.00 (€ 55,285.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kevin Charles Hart erzielte im April 2006 bei Christies in Melbourne einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II wurde die Arbeit Wildflowers für AUD 11.352,50 (€ 6.828,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kevin Charles Hart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Banjo Patterson Mural im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 99.875,00 (€ 55.285,22).
