Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Christies held the auction Important Japanese Art, which included the work Izu Ito Shogetsuin (Shogetsu Shrine At Ito City In Izu Peninsula) by Kawase Hasui. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,051.48), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kawase Hasui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hiraizumi Konjikido (Konjiki Hall At Hiraizumi) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 64,783.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Important Japanese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Izu Ito Shogetsuin (Shogetsu Shrine At Ito City In Izu Peninsula) von Kawase Hasui zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.051,48) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kawase Hasui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hiraizumi Konjikido (Konjiki Hall At Hiraizumi) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 64.783,62).
