Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 35,840.00 (€ 32,856.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Katherine Bradford have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards in November this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 138,613.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spacemen with Shelf von Katherine Bradford wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.840,00 (€ 32.856,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katherine Bradford auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 138.613,86).
