Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with flowers by Karl Larsen for DKK 1,250.00 (€ 167.65). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Larsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Palm trees, Southern France in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Karl Larsen für DKK 1.250,00 (€ 167,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Larsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Palm trees, Southern France im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
