The work View from Venice by Karl Kaufmann was sold in the Autumn Classic Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2010. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 78,000.00 (€ 8,694.10), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Karl Kaufmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German constantinople in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 38,777.70).

Die Arbeit View from Venice von Karl Kaufmann wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 78.000,00 (€ 8.694,10) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Kaufmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German constantinople im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 38.777,70).
