Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by K. Laxma Goud was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,575.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by K. Laxma Goud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. Laxma Goud kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.575,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von K. Laxma Goud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31).
