Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by K. Laxma Goud was sold in the The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,446.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by K. Laxma Goud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. Laxma Goud wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.446,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von K. Laxma Goud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31).
