This work without title by K. Laxma Goud was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,654.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by K. Laxma Goud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. Laxma Goud wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.654,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von K. Laxma Goud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31) versteigert wurde.
