This artwork by Julius Hofmann achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in October 2020. In the SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII auction, the work "Warp" sold for EUR 3,570.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Julius Hofmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Einsames Zuhause" in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 17,850.00.
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julius Hofmann erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII wurde die Arbeit "Warp" für EUR 3.570,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Hofmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Einsames Zuhause" im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.850,00.
