Artwork auctioned at four times the pre-set estimate
The work "Mund" by Julius Hofmann was worth EUR 4,909.00 to a buyer in May 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Art at VAN HAM and exceeded the previously set estimate of EUR 1,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julius Hofmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Einsames Zuhause", which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 17,850.00.
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit "Mund" von Julius Hofmann war einem Käufer im Mai 2020 EUR 4.909,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Art bei VAN HAM erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Julius Hofmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Einsames Zuhause" beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für EUR 17.850,00 versteigert wurde.
