Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2001 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Kittens With Their Mother by Jules LeRoy. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,696.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jules LeRoy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2001 the work Kittens In A Sewing Box was auctioned for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,480.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kittens With Their Mother von Jules LeRoy zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.696,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jules LeRoy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2001 die Arbeit Kittens In A Sewing Box für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.480,42) versteigert.
