The work A blustery day by Joseph Henderson was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in October 2006. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,171.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Henderson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing from the rocks, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 19,120.00 (€ 27,926.50).
