Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Lansdcape with a white house by Josef Wenglein was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,080.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Wenglein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Weite Landschaft im Dachauer Moos in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 16,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Lansdcape with a white house von Josef Wenglein im Juni 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.080,33) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Wenglein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Weite Landschaft im Dachauer Moos im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.125,00.
