In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A shepherd with his sheep and lambs leaning over a fence watching villagers attending mass by Anton Braith. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,250.00 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Anton Braith have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 24,000.00 in April 2007 for the work Heimkehr im Sturm: herding the flock.
