In December last year Artcurial held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary Online, which included the work Star of America - 2001 by JonOne. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,184.00 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by JonOne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A To The Z In 5 Seconds - 1990 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 80,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Star of America - 2001 von JonOne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.184,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von JonOne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A To The Z In 5 Seconds - 1990 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 80.600,00.
