In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Spectators by Johnny Madsen. The result of DKK 15,000.00 (€ 2,009.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johnny Madsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 38,000.00 (€ 33,210.98).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spectators von Johnny Madsen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 15.000,00 (€ 2.009,84) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johnny Madsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 38.000,00 (€ 33.210,98).
