Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition with face by Johnny Madsen was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. The price achieved of DKK 18,000.00 (€ 2,414.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johnny Madsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 38,000.00 (€ 33,210.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition with face von Johnny Madsen wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 18.000,00 (€ 2.414,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johnny Madsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 38.000,00 (€ 33.210,98).
