Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work Stakende Mijnwerker (Borinage) by John Rädecker. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Rädecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grote Kop - Big Head in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 351,060.00 (€ 149,802.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stakende Mijnwerker (Borinage) von John Rädecker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Rädecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grote Kop - Big Head im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 351.060,00 (€ 149.802,76).
