Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work Contemplation by John Rädecker. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,920.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Rädecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grote Kop - Big Head in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 351,060.00 (€ 149,802.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contemplation von John Rädecker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.920,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Rädecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grote Kop - Big Head im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 351.060,00 (€ 149.802,76).
