Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale, which included the work Pacific Gateway by John Kørner. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,255.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Kørner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bird Man in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pacific Gateway von John Kørner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.255,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Kørner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bird Man im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04).
