Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sunset Over the Sea by John Bellany was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,263.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Bellany achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishermen In The Snow in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 125,364.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sunset Over the Sea von John Bellany kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.263,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Bellany erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishermen In The Snow im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 125.364,55).
