Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of SEK 75,000.00 (€ 7,393.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Troll, stjärnenatt' (Troll, starry night) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 1,700,000.00 (€ 165,824.35).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 75.000,00 (€ 7.393,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Bauer erzielen.
