Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction De l'avant-garde à nos jours, which included the work Sans titre by Jiří Kolář. The price achieved of EUR 892.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiří Kolář achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech Tagebuch in July 2009 with an auction result of EUR 72,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion De l'avant-garde à nos jours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Jiří Kolář zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 892,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiří Kolář erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech Tagebuch im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.750,00.
