Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jessica Dismorr achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September this year. In the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction, the work Venice with Gondolas and Church sold for GBP 20,480.00 (€ 20,480.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jessica Dismorr; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait of a Woman Seated sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 40,511.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jessica Dismorr erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women wurde die Arbeit Venice with Gondolas and Church für GBP 20.480,00 (€ 20.480,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jessica Dismorr; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Portrait of a Woman Seated im Oktober diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 40.511,24).
