Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1990 by Jérôme Mesnager. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,470.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jérôme Mesnager - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bellerophon, 1990, which sold at auction in February 2012 for EUR 6,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1990 von Jérôme Mesnager zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.470,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jérôme Mesnager mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bellerophon, 1990 beobachtet, die im Februar 2012 für EUR 6.375,00 versteigert wurde.
