Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Artcurial held the auction Artistes à la Une – Togeth’HER Online, which included the work S.A.S. La Princesse Charlène De Monaco by Jean-Michel Othoniel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Michel Othoniel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Collier Multicolore)Murano Glass And Steel Cable. Executed In 2007, This Work Is Unique. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 97,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Artcurial die Auktion Artistes à la Une – Togeth’HER Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit S.A.S. La Princesse Charlène De Monaco von Jean-Michel Othoniel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Othoniel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre (Collier Multicolore)Murano Glass And Steel Cable.
