The work View Of A French Landscape by Jean Isy de Botton was sold in the At Home - British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 418.25 (€ 601.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Isy de Botton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coronation Portrait of Albert Frederick Arthur George His Majesty King George the Sixth of England in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 12,575.00 (€ 10,796.77).
