Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Do Not Touch (Grey) by Javier Calleja was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 44,625.00 (€ 5,806.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Javier Calleja achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 works: Untitled in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 12,108,000.00 (€ 1,346,286.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Do Not Touch (Grey) von Javier Calleja kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.625,00 (€ 5.806,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Javier Calleja erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 30 works: Untitled im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.108.000,00 (€ 1.346.286,88).
