Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Sleigh Ride by Jan van Chelminski was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2011. It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,746.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Chelminski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Große höfische Jagdgesellschaft in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 92,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Sleigh Ride von Jan van Chelminski kam im Januar 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.746,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Chelminski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Große höfische Jagdgesellschaft im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.500,00.
