Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Bride with two companions) by Jamini Roy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 14,025.00 (€ 16,499.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamini Roy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Dralha) in September last year with an auction result of USD 579,600.00 (€ 592,456.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bride with two companions) von Jamini Roy kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 14.025,00 (€ 16.499,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamini Roy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Dralha) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.600,00 (€ 592.456,30).
