In November 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Autoportrait - 2007 by Jacques Villeglé. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Villeglé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boulevard Saint-Martin in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 312,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autoportrait - 2007 von Jacques Villeglé zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Villeglé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boulevard Saint-Martin im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 312.750,00.
