The work Bd Diderot - Bleu by Jacques de la Villeglé was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 33,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Jacques de la Villeglé have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Les Ternes (lettres jaunes sur fond rouge) was auctioned for EUR 67,000.00.
