Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head study of the painter and suffragette, Emily Ford, in profile to the left by Jacob Kramer was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 794.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Kramer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head Of A Young Woman in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,022.66).

Die Arbeit Head study of the painter and suffragette, Emily Ford, in profile to the left von Jacob Kramer kam im Juli 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 794,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Kramer erzielen.
