Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Jack Kampmann could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Cityscape from the Faroe Islands changed hands for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.85) - just shy of the DKK 6,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Kampmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 5,680.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Kampmann konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Cityscape from the Faroe Islands für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Kampmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 5.680,83).
