Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of the children of Bisgaard by Jens Ferdinand Willumsen for DKK 7,000.00 (€ 938.85). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 10,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jens Ferdinand Willumsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Horserider in the streets of Cordoba in June this year with an auction result of DKK 875,000.00 (€ 117,467.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of the children of Bisgaard von Jens Ferdinand Willumsen für DKK 7.000,00 (€ 938,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jens Ferdinand Willumsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Horserider in the streets of Cordoba im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 875.000,00 (€ 117.467,95).
