Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Izumi Kato was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Izumi Kato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,593,065.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Izumi Kato wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Izumi Kato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.593.065,22).
