Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Izumi Kato was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 571,500.00 (€ 69,112.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Izumi Kato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,593,065.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Izumi Kato kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 571.500,00 (€ 69.112,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Izumi Kato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.593.065,22).
