Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included this untitled work by Iaroslav Serpan. The price achieved of USD 48,750.00 (€ 40,973.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iaroslav Serpan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Série Amazonica, N˚27 in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 230,500.00 (€ 171,337.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Iaroslav Serpan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 48.750,00 (€ 40.973,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iaroslav Serpan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Série Amazonica, N˚27 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 230.500,00 (€ 171.337,25).
