The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,482.27), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ingegerd Torhamn have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 7,465.16) in November this year for the work "Abstrakt komposition".

Die Arbeit Mattskiss - Modernistisk komposition i gratt, gult och vitt (Carpet Sketch - Modernist Composition in Grey, Blue and White) von Ingegerd Torhamn wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion Nordic Art andDesign bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.482,27) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
