Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Trilogi” by Ib Geertsen for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 281.70). This price was achieved in the auction A Clear Form at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ib Geertsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Konkret Komposition (Concrete Composition) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,757.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Trilogi” von Ib Geertsen für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 281,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Clear Form bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ib Geertsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Konkret Komposition (Concrete Composition) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.757,44).
