Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Study of flowers by Johan Laurentz Jensen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 6,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 401.97). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johan Laurentz Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,119.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Study of flowers von Johan Laurentz Jensen im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 6.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 401,97) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johan Laurentz Jensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.119,96).
